Idioventricular Escape Rhythm

Report:

No definite atrial activity

Idioventricular escape rhythm

Right and left bundle branch block morphology

Comment:

It is quite common to have two escape foci looking like LBBB and RBBB; similarly, patients with a BBB often have escape beats with the contralateral BBB morphology.

The atrial rhythm here could be fine AF, atrial standstill or extreme sinus bradycardia. 201. 50 year old man performing a poor man’s exercise test while lying in his CCU bed (Standard Lead 1).
