Inferoposterolateral Infarction
Report:
Sinus rhythm 70/min
Right axis deviation (RAD) ±180o
Inferoposterolateral infarction, age indeterminate
Comment:
Complete proximal circumflex lesion was stented, with large basal infarction and surprisingly preserved LVEF 50%13. It is not possible to assign the age of this infarct; historically, it may have happened over 72 hours previously. The pattern did not change over the next four months; indeed it looked, if anything, more acute on an outpatient visit (below, Fig 14a). The persistent ST segment elevation in lead 3 may be a marker of a posterior aneurysm. 14a. Unchanged ECG, four months later. 15. 53 year old man with precordial discomfort and profuse diaphoresis.
